Polish Paradiplomacy. Current State and Perspectives

The article presents the results of research conducted by author within framework National Science Centre action MINIATURA 4. This was a pilot project aiming to yield preliminary diagnosis and suggest directions development for cooperation between local government units central in field paradiplomacy. As part study, 11 interviews were with representatives milieus responsible Polish paradiplomacy: officials, civil servants experts. indicate that approached as an instrument foreign policy, diplomacy is experiencing severe crisis. In order overcome it, one should consider model paradiplomacy respects interests either side, namely government.
